  1. Yeah, it's especially frustrating when you come in as a MegaTen fan with just a passing interest in FE (me), because even if FE fans got screwed over, MegaTen fans got screwed over so, so much more. I mean, at least they get Chrom, Tharja and Tiki. The MegaTen side gets, uh... other worlds, and elemental weaknesses.
  2. Yeah I can see that being annoying, especially if you're a big fan of either (or both) series
  3. It's a lesson, really. When you advertise something as a crossover, and promise that to fans, you may want to deliver an actual crossover rather than some pet project with little shout outs to both series.
  4. Ouch. Well hopefully it won't be a total waste of money
  5. But yuou know, I may bitch and moan, but if I get a Wii U by the time it's out here, I'll probably play it.

It's still a wonder it's getting a release here, because Japanese sales were apparently really low. Like, record-breakingly low;.
  6. xD

    Oh well that's a bummer
  7. I was at first. But then with each trailer my hype just waned. I mean, the game might have looked cool if it hadn't been marketed as SMTxFE, because in the end it's like 13% FE, 0.2% SMT, and the rest is just idols. "There appears to have been a fusion accident" indeed...
  8. That's a shame, I know a lot of people were looking forward to that game :/
  9. The story also focuses on pop idols, which I just find uuugggghhhhh... But at least they're handled pretty realistically in that they take a look at how society's expectations toward idols and their image are and how that influences their psyche in a pretty messed up way, so at least some layer of Persona-style psychology is still there. It's much better than what I hear about that disaster that is the Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei crossover, which reportedly is just "yay, being an idol is so awesooooooooomeeee"
  10. I'm not huge in to them but who knows
