Nice! Now I'll just need to do the same - got lots of stuff going on recently. I'm, together with two friends who keeps bugging me about it all the time, preparing for a SSBM tourney as well as a Touhou 12.3 tourney at an upcoming anime/gaming con. I'm also trying to make a Grim Heaper/Sho Minamimoto cosplay for said con while also discussing the possibilities of eventually starting up a small gaming company with a dude and some other stuff. Ahaha I'm glad I'm not the only one that felt that way about FF13? Alas, as we grow up, things change and some amazing things become not-so-amazing =( Sorry for the extremely late reply by the way aha! I was just watching the news and I was like WOAH Osama is dead I wonder what EOFF has to say about this! :P And then I remembered that I had to post on your page again haha. Congrats on completing your game man! Hopefully I'll get to play it at some point in the near future! Anywho, how has life been man? University has weighed pretty heavily on me, but I'm doing alright with friends + family. Really missing the nostalgia of being a teenager, playing Final Fantasy games, going on this website, and just being oblivious to eveeerything :P But life is still good! AH, I haven't been on much lately either. Sorry for the late reply. =P Many people ( including me ) dislike FF13. It has nice graphics, I'll give it that. But as for everything else... I prefere the older titles ( FFX and everything before ). Anyhow... I've participated in a contest (make a game in one week) and actually managed to make a short game in RPG maker in only one week. Normal games often take years, so it obviously can't compare to the other title I'm working on "Shads and Babes", which I mentioned earlier. But... well, I've now officially made a complete game. =P What about you?
It's been a while haha! Hope you had a good new years. I checked your Babe of the Week articles though, good job haha So how's life + video games + Final Fantasy? I just played the 13th one, and man it really broke my balls. I guess I don't really like change :P
Late reply, as I haven't been much on EoFF lately either. Anyhow... Yeah, KOS-MOS ftw! =P I agree. The FF games really are going downhill too. Way too much focus on the graphics. And I don't find the characters all that interesting either. Liked a lot of the old ones much better. They really did have a certain "magic" about them that seem to have been lost in the newest ones. =/ Well, I've been playing Touhou 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom quite a bit lately. It's an oldschool-style 2D shooting game that's both very difficult and addicting at the same time. I just ( today, actually ) beat the "Extra Stage" in that game, which has one of the toughest extra bosses I've ever fought. So yay! Another accomplishment to be proud of! =D Other than that tough, not much. How about you?
I am reading those pages now haha (nice choice on KOS-MOS by the way ) And yeah, it's definetly not like the glory days when everyone I loved was a posting maniac :P So much nostalgia here though. It saddens me too that the FF games don't seem to be as good as they were back when I used to post here. But maybe I'm just attached to those old games because I grew up to them. Even still, they seemed to have some magic haha. Anyways man what's new?
