It's not an aaactual spoiler, just Bern and Lambda joking around like they always do. So it's okay, you're fine, no need to worry. ;D
Awesome, thanks for the suggestions! I'm sure I'll end up trying a few of them!
Yeah, it all started with the bullet hell games. There are some 2D fighting games in the main series as well though, "Touhou 12.3: Hisoutensoku" being my favourite of them. But for the fan games, I'd really recommend trying the two Touhouvania games. Then there's several "Touhoumon" games, some of which are pretty awesome. "Mega Marisa" is an awesome Mega Man spinoff, though it's even harder than most of the original Mega Man games. Touhou Katsugeki Kidan is an easier Touhou plattformer, with a level up system added to it. If you're into fighters though, I'd recommend giving the Touhou fighters Scarlet Weather Rhapsody and Hisoutensoku a go.
Interesting. I'd like to try more of the games but I don't know where to start and I don't enjoy and am terrible at bullet hell games! Is that where the series originated? Either way it sounds like I'll have plenty of games to choose from
Yeah, sadly. D= And I'm a huge Touhou fan actually. Aside from the main series and all the crazy amounts of remixes, mangas and fanarts and whatnots, there are also a whole lot of awesome fan games. "Detonate on Sound" is basically "Touhou Bomberman" (bomberman with extra everything) and it's one of the most fun 4-player party games I've ever played. Touhouvania/Koumajou Densetsu is a Castlevania-style series of two games that's incredibly well made. It's basically like real Castlevania games, but with Touhou characters instead. xD Yukari happens to be my favourite Touhou character because of the way she's depicted in all the fan-stuff mostly, though "Utsuho Reiuji" is a close second, because she's like the number one Touhou super-badass.
Ah so not the most accessible then :< I have two touhou visual novels but I know they also have bullet hell games and I played that silly Touhoumon game a while back (it was really fun). But there seems to be a whole lot of stuff!
She's the least known of them, since she's actually from an untranslated VN. I just happen to have a Visual Novel-crazy friend who can speak and read japanese fluently, and I got into it while he was playing it and translating meanwhile. One of the first VNs I got introduced to, and Mio was coolest character in it.
The Mio character looks pretty interesting!
They are from a mix of games, animes and visual novels of pretty varying fame, so yeah.
Oh alrighty. I knew a few of them but a few others I'd never heard of!
