The character limit stops spammers or some trout. I don't know. If I wanted to wreck people via user notes I'd just put open table coding in there and just smurf their profile until they can figure it out. I'm always frustrated when I make great posts during Mafia because as soon as the game is over everybody forgets and then the accounts all get renamed and it's never the same
I don't even remember why they put a character limit in in the first place it was totally unnecessary xD I think i was the only person who posted anything more than usual anyway and that was the whole posting RotK chapters thing. also yes you should read it it is brilliant. very difficult to read though because of the style and length but still worth it. I think the greatest post I ever made on EoFF was when I made that post in the DW mafia in the style of RotK that was read only by the people in the mafia thread and understood by about 3 of them. Nothing I ever do will come close to the glory of that post and it will remain lost forever ;_; also you're australian what do you expect it's written into your dna.
I can't believe there was a time where there weren't character limits. I really ought to read that book too, smurfing Dynasty Warriors is awesome and that book would be just as badass. But yeah I'm almost too eager for a scrap these days
