Pretty awesome set thanks! Yeah tbh I could even earn less if I could walk to work every day. I applied for a job in a recruiting agency, 12000 a year training but up to 35k a year OTE (so if I hit all targets, unlikely but who knows) after taxes, rent and bills I'd be left with a minimum (excluding any comission/bonuses) of £420 a month for food, phone, gym, credit card which is pretty good going (I count a night out or two as food) At the moment I'm earning nearly 14000 before taxes and it's not enough primarily because I have to pay a whopping 140 a month travelling there and back. Of course more money would be better but if I took that trainee position did that for 6 month to a year and moved to another recruitment agency my pay would leap to around 20000 which is not bad. But yeah 50hr weeks would destroy me in present state gotta hope for the doctor to see that too! Write off pile here I come!
Your manager sounds like an idiot xD 50 hour weeks are not going to help your stress levels at all, it's only going to make you want to punch people in the face. Hopefully a new job pops up soon so you can get some better money with less stress, because otherwise you're gonna feel like crap for ages (SPOILER)
Yeah, HMV is one stress bag after another really. I'll be seeing the Dr this coming Monday. Will see what happens. My manager kinda got the whole "this place, economically speaking is not good atm, it's not working for me" and yet totally glossed over the "I'm so stressed, I'm gonna break!" and all by offering me the chance to work 50 hour weeks in the Olympics. I almost snapped today at a customer who was asking me stupid questions, God help the one I eventually break on. I've not been on my 360 all that much lately, probably ought to get on it more release some of the stress building up but meh, plenty of time for that if my doctor signs me off sick (kinda hoping he will because I'm way too stressed to face the olympics) A new set sounds pretty cool, got any ideas in mind for it?
