Yes I do. And that's kind of what I'm thinking of as far as what constitutes a gay character if there wasn't a some love plot at any point. And I did. Never played GTA, but yeah it's major. Interesting that they went so far. Comments? I happen to be quite male, yes. And you happen to have had a Presea avatar in the past.

I guess he's not super influential. Do you think his actions and reactions are clear enough to label him as most likely definitely homosexual, even if it wasn't stated in plain text?

I'm sure of course that he is straight by default in the character designers' minds, but I wonder how much would change if he were indeed homosexual. More to the point, I doubt there'd ever be a Cloud/Squall/Zidane/Tidus/Yuna lead though. Maybe a not-main-character party member someday far away. Fran needed a girlfriend. >:/

Idk :p I'm also going to assume you mean "openly gay", and not in the closet, cause that'd just be speculation. Except that one guy in Shadow hearts though, who is faar more excited to give acupuncture to male characters than to females, and his acupuncture needles have small hearts on them.
Heya. I'm thinking. Is a Japanese or Western (basically, American) video game more likely to feature a homosexual character? What do you think? How long until a major/successful video game features a non-straight main character, do you think? Can you even imagine a Final Fantasy with a gay lead? YOU SEEM SMART AND RELATIVELY KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE GENRE, SO I'M ASKING YOU.
