Yeah, Genetics and Undefined Darkness are a pain in the ass. Who's your favorite character(s), anyway? Mine are Shikieiki, Satori, Yumemi, Alice, Keine, and Suika.
Of course getting to either of those is going to be hard enough. *shudders at the thought of Genetics of the Subconscious and Undefined Darkness*

Koishi's one of the couple Extras I haven't beaten yet, aside from Nue and EX-Alice. :< I've managed to get to her second survival card, and that ruined me. :x Oh, and have I mentioned I'm a global moderator at a Touhou forum now?
I unlocked Koishi last night. She is really brutal, farthest I've gotten so far is her first survival (Youkai polygraph test).
Like I said, once you get Extra down, Phantasm's just taking it up one more notch from there. Cool stuff though; go for the win!
I beat Ran and unlocked Yukari! Then I tried Phatasm and did a lot better than I thought I would, somehow I got all the way to Boundary of Humans and Youkai. I caught 5 cards too, Curse of Dreams and Reality, Balance of Motion and Silence, Yukari's spiriting away, Butterfly in the Zen temple, and Ran Yakumo. I'm surprised I did so well.
Almost all. Yukari's 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 10th are either easier than their Ran counterparts or just a touch harder.
Ah, with a few more tries I'll be able to beat her! Then Yukari can destroy me by making almost all of Ran's cards even harder
