That idea didn't comply with most of the people. Thinking back on it ... you can keep your snow! =P
As long as one uses common sense, driving on ice isn't very hard at all. You just have to modify your driving style a little to accommodate for possible difficulties.
I'll admit, the last day was mostly ice. Nothing changed though, people still locked themselves in.
Yeah, that's not too pleasant, but after the snow plows go through, the problem is pretty much gone after the first day... but four days? xD
The most affected areas had 50 centimetres worth. The "chaos" went on for about four days though, so most of the snow was melting.
That's pretty pathetic. How much snow did you guys get, exactly? o.o
On snow days the traffic here is non-existent. It's like the apocalypse has just happened and I missed out on it.
Autumn is the best season. >=O I hate snow because people around here are stupid and don't know how to drive on it, so they slow traffic down. (I was taught how to drive on ice and snow before I had even driven on dry road before, so I'm pretty good at it.)
Britain had snow for two days and the country went crazy. xD Even the underground tubes were closed down. Luckily it was the fun type of crazy. Besides, Autumn is boring.
