Pike, I asked an artist if I could use their artwork for one of my stories for EoFF. They got back to me & asked if they could see the story first. Do you think this is normal procedure? Should I let her see it?

take out the prepositional statement "at the time" and it makes sense. "the ((at the time)) very radical idea." "very radical idea" is the subject, "the" is denoting that subject.
