You're right! I remember when I first played L4D I was terrified of the witch. Now I just speed run and blow her up and keep running
I dunno, if it got to that point for me it wouldn't be fun anymore. It'd just be routine. The fun for me is being an average player against other average players, with lots of surprises popping up. If you can get it into a routine, it just seems like it'd be a rinse and repeat circle jerk. Just doesn't seem like much fun to me.
vs requires you to basically be able to beat expert or advance mode and find it easy - tbh people there are pretty competitive. The 'friends' I used to play with are nuts: sometimes we'll destroy the other team within 30 seconds of the round starting :P
I know, they need to be killed! One problem is that I'm apparently just not that good. I get people in vs. mode giving me crap a lot when usually I can't understand what they're saying on their mics and have barely played the levels to know wtf they're referring to when they bark orders. I just like to play for fun but I seem to get into games a lot with people who treat it really hardcore and get mad when you don't do everything just as you say
