Long time fan myself. Devil May Cry has a reverse Star Trek thing going on. The odd number games are good and the even number games are usually bad. Though I'm in a minority of fans who didn't think 2 was that bad. I just wished they explained some things better. As it stands you could skip 2 and not miss out on any of the plot.
If you mean the older DMC games, no, can't say I have.

Hey, I'm great, just trying to finish some games before the big Fall blockbusters start coming out. I actually just finished The Last of Us, which your review pushed me over the top to buy - great rec! I'm not a big Who fan but I'll certainly check your DmC review. That's been sitting on the PS3 hard drive, wondering if it should be bumped up a few spots on the backlog.
