I don't know why I think that either. Maybe it's just that I imagine pine trees when I picture the Pacific Northwest. They smell gewd.
I don't understand the connection, but whenever I think of Ohio (insert witty Ohio slam here). Actually, that's not true, whenever I think about Ohio I think someone from Columbus I know that vanished.
When I think of Portland I think of those smelly little pine trees that you hang from your rear view mirror in your car.
