Some do, it's not nearly as pronounced as it is over there though. Doesn't quite get cold enough to make them freak out.

Fall is probably the perfect time to start though, it's the least extreme season and you'll be able to adjust a little easier
I'll be there in your fall so I suspect it'll be a lot warmer than here! It does get humid here quite often though, just not in the fall...
That's very true. Winters here are a lot warmer though I suspect the summers might be comparable temperature wise. I wonder if the humidity will be noticeable though.
