I probably won't get to play it until January. I don't have time to play anything outside of my reviews and I already planned what I'm reviewing to the end of the year. I'm stubborn when my mind's made up.

Here's the secret to happiness with the gambit system: have one character in the party who you control exclusively and doesn't use it. Set up the other two however you want, and also be prepared to override their commands if you feel it necessary. I'd also recommend trying specific jobs for characters. Maybe a primary with some secondary abilities from another class to fill the gaps. Makes things really interesting when there are limits on what characters can use.
So. I think I've successfully been converted to Final Fantasy XII. Still not sure how I feel about the Gambit system, though. Need more time to get used to it.
