  1. Do you Sonic (the Hedgehog)?
  2. And hopefully the next showrunner knows how to write for women a little better. I mean, I love Amy, River, and Clara, but Moffat is a three tricks pony when it comes to women. Missy reminds me too much of River Song. So did that lady who appeared in Matt Smith's last Who episode. Then again, you could probably accuse RTD or rehashing too. Martha felt like a black Rose at times. Though she eventually did get out of her shadow.
  3. Agreed. I think that one of the main problems with New Who is that head writers have had far too much control over stories, to the extent that things can start to feel a bit... samey.
  4. Pretty sure they only just announced it yesterday. I saw it while browsing Facebook. I feel fresh blood might be needed soon, though. I hope he doesn't stick around too long after 10.
  5. I didn't know that. I was under the impression that he was leaving after this season.
  6. Ah, well. I can't talk. I'm likely doing the same thing with the first two seasons by Moffat. He's staying on board a lot longer than I thought he would. He'll be sticking around for Season Ten, also.
  7. RTD - like the Tenth Doctor - is somewhat overrated, I feel. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that that was the period in which most of the modern fans started watching Doctor Who. They're bound to look back on that period with rose-tinted glasses.
  8. So much happened in those seasons. Every episode felt like a spectacle. Made it a little harder to get into the RTD Era of DW when I started watching the earlier seasons.
  9. I did really like the Eleventh Doctor. Quite a bit better than Tennant, I thought. I also really loved seasons 5 and 6. That may have had something to do with the fact that I had a massive crush on Matt Smith at the time.
  10. Eleven is my favorite, and also my first. I find myself relating to his style the most. It was also my first exposure to British TV so it was very different to anything else I watched up to that point. Season 5 and 6 were amaze-balls. So much that everything after felt so linear in comparison.
