I'm going to Denmark in an hour
YES! he does. Paul thinks he looks like Matthew Lillard. We're having a little battle there.
haha xD Oh, I see. He does look like Ronan Keating, though!
haha no that was in response to Flying Mullets post. I should start quoting members when I do that.
Haha, thanks! .. and I don't really think you look like Ronan Keating either.
Dont worry, you don't look like Mika
woah, you're hardcore. That's some old text right there. Written about 100 years ago so I imagine the language was a bit hard to read? But maybe not for you since it probably looked more like Danish back then, I don't know, I haven't read it or seen it. It's a play isn't it? But yeah, we have an expression in Norway that goes like "De 4 store" meaning the 4 big authors in Literature, and Bjørnson is one of them. I saw Kim Bodnia peeing on a statue of HC Andersen in Nattevagten Actually it wasn't hard to read at all because, as you said, it was very similar to Danish, which I generally consider written Norwegian to be. Yeah, it's a play. We read it in our Danish class as a part of a course we are having about "Det Moderne Gennembrud" ("The Modern Breakthrough", or whatever it's called in English?), and also because there's a rule about Danish students that says they have to read texts in both Swedish and Norwegian. Really? I had no idea that he was such a famous writer. I guess Henrik Ibsen is one of "the four big ones" as well then? Hehe, yeah that scene is a great one. Something about H.C. Andersen giving himself pleasure a whole lot
I've just read a Norwegian text (in Norwegian!) of an author called Bjørnstjerne Bjørnsen or something like that, and the text was called "En Handske"... I don't know whether or not it is a good thing, though..? I was kinda confused after finishing it..
Dang, you have many user notes...!
