Hahahaha you crack me up! Still you're right. I know most smut is written by women because frankly guys get too distracted and fixated when writing it. Yet without a single solitary doubt I could out write that terrible harridan when it comes to smut scenes. As a side note, like the pic of you in the Iron Throne, I had one on my mate's phone of me in a replica of the thing but I don't know where it ended up.
It really is terrible. I speed read them back when they first came out, before all the mainstream hype (people online were talking about how terrible they were so I decided to give it a go and had to fish them out from the back of a store). They just keep getting worse. In the last book they (spoiler alert but who the hell cares) have kids. I'm going to continue doing the review, but skimming through the upcoming chapters yesterday and in the proces remembering how terrible the sex scenes are makes me a little nervous about reviewing that section. I'm not even slightly squeamish about reading smut, but I'm not keen on having to reread such poorly written smut.
The 50 Shades Of Grey thread is quite amusing. I remember being told I wasn't allowed to bitch about it until I had read it. I got to the first sex scene and couldn't stand the continuity issues.
