Oh yes, Commander Shephard and I get on well. I'm still working on the second playthrough though, I lost the urge to go through and complete every single planet like my first run xD
Have you played Mass Effect? 360
Awesome! I'll be sure to check it out soon
You should be able to find a translated version somewhere! Try Project Gutenburg. They've got all of the classics and some translated versions. :3
Middle English will probably kick my ass too. XD I probably will need to have the browser open to have any chance of success, but it sounds like a fun challenge
Woo :>D! Chaucer is a revolutionary. Without him, modern English might not even exist! It may have been faded out by now, rather than growing and adapting to the stresses put on it. Chaucer proved that New English was just as expressive as French, and particularly the English written language. His poetry is genius. :3 Make sure you find a translated version of The Canterbury Tales though, unless you're adept at deciphering Middle English. I'm sure if you keep a web browser open so that you can search and catch various references to different things, you should be okay. If you don't feel up to it though, just find a New English version and you'll be fine. I recently started reading a Middle English version of The Tempest. It's in its original manuscript form and it is kicking my ass. XD
Well I know who my target audience is now, so I'm one step closer to global success! I'm going to thank you in advance for mentioning him because I will read up on him and be entertained and informed and I will enjoy every second of it
Well, I'm not sure I could read a sports magazine. x.x But a game review magazine I could definitely read :>D! Yep, Geoffrey Chaucer, as in writer of the Canterbury Tales! :>D My English class curriculum has a section on his work and contributions to English Literature, and it's really interesting. :3
I would hope somebody subscribed to my magazines! By Chaucer you mean that poet/philosopher guy, right? I should look him up too.
That would be so badass. I'd subscribe to a magazine for which you wrote. :3 I'm going on a Chaucer binge over the next week or so. :>D I'm also being stricter with myself about not ending sentences in prepositions. X3
