Citan pretty much is that against everyone in the game. He hits as hard as the games slow but heavy hitter, and Citan is also the fastest character in the game. He gets more broken as you get further in the game, and his fourth hit in a weak attack combo is him murdering you with just his index finger. Big Joe is more of a goofy Elvis impersonator, make sure to always talk to him when you see him cause he's pretty funny and often linked to some good gear in the game.
He was two levels lower when I got him, and literally every one of his stats was higher then Lei's. And I just met Big Joe, and my god does he remind me of the Neon guy from Trigun, the one who jacks the steam train. o_O
It's a flawed game for sure, but I feel it's one of the most ambitious stories ever written in the genre barring Xenosaga itself. Citan is awesome and he still wins my award for most broken character in a game. He's a monster compared to the rest of the cast.
