Dark cloud is pretty Rad. I spent rather a long time walking around the Back Floors (Or whatever they are called) grinding items for my weapons. I had maxed out basically everything by end of the third dungeon for Toan, Xiao and Ruby, the three characters I actually used. Gaia online is another forum I used to frequent. Stopped going about 7 years ago.
I have never actually played that! But I really enjoy Dark Cloud and she is my favorite and the avatar is pretty cute.
