I can remember the first Ramones song I ever heard. I was, hm, I think I was 6 but I could have been a little younger or older. It was on a bluebird ad and it was Surfin' Bird. That's actually a cover. But it was the Ramones' version.

I'm going to take a wild swing and say you have. You just didn't know it was them. The acknowledgment of a song by the Ramones is usually pretty subtle, anyway. Especially in car ads.
