Yeah, if you have a stronger weapon, the Blood Sword isn't useful if Sap doesn't land. I believe the Black Belt makes you immune to Disable and Immobolize, it should be available by this point either from a vendor or more likely through the Bazaar. Yeah, I preferred the second movie as well, though after watching the first, it wasn't bad either. Both films are pretty good.
Oh yeah I forgot - after finishing season 9, we watched the second X-Files movie. And to be honest, I enjoyed it more than the first one. It felt like a very solid monster of the week episode and I was hooked from start to finish. Though I can imagine it could be disappointing to fans who wanted a more satisfying g resolution to the myth arc, but again, I’m spoiled because I know seasons 10 and 11 are a thing. We are going to take a break until all of season 11 is available, though
I’ll be happy to see that for myself. Back when I first played XII, mark hunts really stressed me out and by the time I reached Bur-Omisace, I just pretty much gave up on them because they were too tough for my then-idiot self. Not that I didn’t appreciate how much flavor they gave the world - I was just way too inexperienced in the genre at the time to really be able to take them on. But I’ll be very happy to check them out now because the hunts are fantastic and I love them even more than before. Speaking of, I’m taking on the Gil Snapper right now. Judging by a guide I saw online, I’m a bit under leveled, but I’m still capable of bringing him down to very low health. The problem is disable. Is there any accessory that prevents it? Also, am I correct in assuming the Blood Sword’s only defining trait is it’s sap effect and there’s no point in having it equipped if a mark is immune?
It does tie in well with the greater war story. I love the mark hunts associated with the area as well since they also tell more about the story of this place.
I mean it’s nothing in particular, but like I think it’s the only cold area in Ivalice, it’s really dark due to all the clouds, and thanks to the music and all the skeletons popping up left and right it just feels so epic. I also like how there’s tons of refugees going to this holy place - like, you can feel that the war that’s going on is not an abstract thing - common people have to pay the price.
What is that?
I’m a horse. Though I’ve never paid much attention to the Chinese Zodiac. It’s more likely to be a Virgo though, since it’s due late August. Now I really need to get to writing more often because I’ll be busy with other things later. But now I’m reminded why I like Paramina Rift so much!
The child will also be the Year of the Dog, which is my Chinese Zodiac as well.
I knew you’d say that
Congratulations! Going to have a Leo/Virgo baby it seems.
