Yeah, though while Durarara looked kinda cool to me (saw only one episode though, lol ), I kind of hate the character designs of Devil Survivor. Everyone looks cross-eyed and every girl has gigantic, pointed breasts that protrude to the sides.
Yeah I try to just ignore the fetish stuff because everything is a fetish to someone, really :/ My main issue with Dengeki is it takes characters from so many different series and the art styles don't match. So you'll have super detailed anime girl with hair strands indicated and then like very basic anime style. It's a weird mesh and takes me out of the element a bit Oh I had no idea it was the same character designer, that's interesting!
I know, I'm just fooling around I do like anime style as well. That said, there are styles that just don't sit as well with me as others, but that's mostly by association with moe, otaku, and porn-related stuff. There are styles that I really like, though, that have been a huge inspiration for me, like CLAMP or Hiromu Arakawa of Fullmetal Alchemist and Silver Spoon By the way, that guy from Durarara! reminded me of Devil Survivor because the game had the same character designer to the anime.
