It's from an older anime called Robot Carnival which is a collection of short anime features dealing with robots. This one is from my personal favorite short: Presence. Though you should watch the whole film, it's pretty stellar.

I've been meaning too finish up the PS2 era MegaTen titles, it's just hard trying to get around to console playing, especially when I have my newer consoles hooked up. I wish the newer consoles were directly backwards compatible instead of just digitally. Not really in the mood to buy the games again on the PSN network for convenience when I have the hard copies.
Aah ^^ was wondering since Nocturne is so high up on your favorites list.
Not yet, funny enough, I hadn't even beaten DDS1 until last year and I still haven't played the sequel. Granted he's NG+ only so I have an easy shot at running into him if I wanted to.
Btw have you ever fought the legendary Nocturne protagonist superboss in Digital Devil Saga?
Fair enough, I still have Fallout 4 to go through which was a gift as well.
