Well, yeah I have fun with my friends and stuff but I don't joke around with them much because someone usually ends up getting offended.
People take me serious when i need to be, but that definiatly solves the problem of no luck with women.. seriously, how do you expect to have fun? Do you even joke around with your friends? I couldnt even imagine what my friendship would be like if we didnt laugh and joke while hanging out. But i suppose thats just my view.
Also, I try to avoid being funny. I find that keeping a serious reputation and a serious face all the time gets people to treat you seriously.
Not having any friends until grade 6 may have had something to do with it as well. (I wish I was joking about that)
You just had the bad luck of not having much practise in your youth, am i right? It's all about practise.. a little humour helps too.

I have respect for women too... But, I guess I do make them feel a little awkward when I'm around them. Like when I gave a girl flowers and chocolates for her birthday and she ended up not appreciating them as much as I thought she would...
It'd be nice if Polaris usernoted me a lot as well.
