I finally got it. Apparently my mistake was using Ryu. I decimated them with Nina in the first round and the next round was much easier. I just got Garr now. So should I worry about equally grinding everyone or is it one of those games where you can just kinda use the party you want? And thanks for the info, I'm thinking of adding those series to the list
I've played the First Golden Sun and most of the Lufia games. I enjoy Lufia, Golden Sun was a bit too simplistic for my taste but not bad. Of anything it's probably the closest thing to a successor Lufia will ever have. Sorry that the tournament has been an issue. What seems to be the problem?

Yeah... BoFIII is pretty good about making you feel bad for beating boss battles.
