My family gatherings are usually really good about having plenty of it around.
I love mashed potatoes. It's my favorite food right next to stuffing. There wasn't enough mashed potatoes last Christmas.
Baked, twice baked, and mashed are my favorite ways to eat them. Also hash browns.

It gave me feels. So many feels, man. It also reminded me a lot of Game of Thrones to the point I'm convinced GRRM is a FF fan.
FFIV is my favorite game of all time, so I can't really judge you there! I admit that my reasoning is emotionally based on childhood stuff, but whatever. Even without that, it is just a magical game. I love it!
I feel the same, and I still place FFIV pretty high on my favorites list. Though I think I'm just biased to 16 bit games in general. All of the 16 bits!
