  1. I kinda still have no clue! I wanted to take this opportunity to learn all about the various DAWs and how to use them to maybe make something that sounds better, so we'll see. It's not exactly a project with strict deadlines since everyone there is pretty much just doing it as a hobby. I have some themes from my improv sessions on the piano, so I hope that'll be a nice thing to start with. I think I have a pretty good idea for a battle theme.
  2. Interesting, going for something nostalgic or something based on the time frame of the game?
  3. It's something that started as a Shining Force 2 mod but then became its own thing. An SRPG basically.
  4. Oh that's cool, what kind of game is it?
  5. Nah, don't worry about it. I was really asking more out of curiosity or anything.

Turns out I couldnt write today because I got a surprise freelance assignment! Combine that with something I promised my wife today and poof - no writing done! But I agree, its much more important to just keep writing instead of keeping a word count so let's both not give up!

And yeah, I heard about that. When I looked the episode up, it turned out he wrote most of the episodes that really stood out for me! Shame I have such a long way to go to see the next one written by him

Also, joined a video game project as composer! We'll see where that gets me
  6. I am afraid I haven't had much time to get around to looking at it. Sorry about that.

I didn't get nearly as much done as I was hoping for yesterday. My writing is small scale since I tend to write before I go to bed now. Though at the moment I feel like just staying consistent is more important than the actual word count. I think I've only really missed one day so far this month, though I'm bad about updating my word count on the main site.

Yeah season four of X-Files is pretty groovy. The first five or six seasons were stellar. The main writer who wrote your favorite episode has a tendency to write some of the best episodes in the series. He wrote my favorite episode of the reboot season that aired a few years ago.
  7. Btw, did you get a chance to look at that concept chapter I sent you some time ago?
  8. So I didn/t manage to write anything yesterday since we were taking care of some stuff with the kitchen again. BUT, today I should have time! And I'm itching to write, so even a break like this has its upsides.

Aside from that we've been watching the X-Files recently and are up to season four and yesterday we saw Sanguinarium, which was the goriest one so far but it was pretty interesting. In general, this season feels pretty strong, though Jose Chung's "From Outer Space" is probably my favorite episode so far and I don't think anything can realistically top it
  9. I will do my best. I've been enjoying this piece better than I thought I would.
  10. Gambatte!
