  1. Yes, just one left.
  2. So we have one more contest enty left, right? Lovig these so far!
  3. I just don't want all of the joy to get sucked out of it for me, but I don't think it will be an issue. Most of the time I really enjoy writing when I actually get started.
  4. I'm fine with making this my profession. But I don't want it to remind me too much of my regular copywriting workflow.
  5. Yeah, NaNo makes it feel like work, which is not the mindset I like to be in for it, but going back to the "Professional" video I found, that could also be my main problem.
  6. Exactly. I'm having the same mindset in that I have zero intention of actually finishing NaNo - my aim is to just have a big chunk of my project done. NaNo might be nice and all to keep track of words, but really, I find that the type of approach that wins people NaNo is pretty much the opposite of what makes me productive. Reaching a word goal reminds me too much of my job and just kills my creativity. I just need the push to write every day so it's easier to get in the zone.
  7. While I may stick to world building for the one I mentioned before I'm thinking of either working on Waiting or my Retail Film script during NaNo. I have no intention or belief I'll get them done by the end of the month, but if I can get a good chunk of it or even a good grasp of where I want to take the stories, I'll be pretty content. Sometimes it's not about the page count and more about feeling good with the project in question.
  8. Awesome Hope we all finally get our projects done this time!
  9. It is a pretty hard game. I take it your playing a fresh file and not working from a NG+? Yeah the game can be pretty brutal if you don't play conservatively with resources and make the most of the P.E.T.S. system.

In other news, I've been pretty inspired to work on some of my writing projects. I have a bit of a writing protege at work that I help, and she's getting ready for NaNo this year and much like you, she's working on a novel she stalled on, but recently dropped some ideas that didn't work and her new vision of the piece is actually pretty clever and interesting, so it's been kind of exciting to hear her new ideas for a piece that I encouraged, but didn't particularly care for. This along with some other things in my life has me interested in getting back to a few pieces I've been putting off.
  10. I' just got Nina and Lin and am at the lowest sector borough. It's neat! I forgot how cool the battle system is - and also ho scarce the money :/ Also, absolutely no heals aside from items? Yowch. The inventory space is also super tiny
