Yeah my tickets didn't come with baggage, it was ridiculous xD A few different airlines gave us one bag for free though, I liked them.

Don't you get one personal carry on item and one bag on flights? Just put it in a little laptop bag and you should be fine. I was fine with a laptop and a bag all across the US and they're assholes when it comes to planes xD Still, good idea to get something in English xD
The issue there is that it might not actually be what I'm after, and I may not be able to find it in English, haha. It's safer to buy it and have it delivered in England, then go pick it up myself. Adds ~£100 to the price tag for plane tickets, but hey. £1000 is pretty decent. Certainly cheaper than the MSI GT70 and the Alienware Mx17, which were the only other laptops I was considering before I found notebookcheck.net!
I would say before, or even there. China might have good prices on electronics. Getting it after is fine except you will be out of date then and you miss out on having something to do in your down time. Get it so you can play games, brah.
I'm thinking I might buy this. Before or after China, I don't know. I'm tempted towards before because a) it provides me with greater stability and b) options than my current troutty laptop, and c) I'm impatient and want to play DayZ and Dark Souls now, damnit! This thing, despite being a bargain (in laptop, not desktop, terms), can handle every game out right now on at least medium settings.
