  1. Usually how it works. I'm back on P1 SQQ and trying to get spell cards to unlock all of the ultimate personas. I have three now, but I'll need to do some serious grinding to get the party able to use them.
  2. Compared to the dungeon, the boss was incredibly easy. I was very lucky to have an earth fusion spell
  3. Probably, it's been years since i played EP.
  4. I'm pretty sure only Persona 1 had the horrible "you get rewarded for what you do" mechanic. There's always only one number for experience at the end of the battle and I'm pretty sure all party members get the full amount.
  5. I can't remember if the game was nice enough to let non-combat party members level up with you or not. If not, remember she has to deal with the level rules with Persona so she might be worse off than you think.
  6. I am not really opposed to grinding here, but I am concerned that Ulala isn't in my party now, so she'll be behind in levels. I mean, the good news is she'll be able to use high level personas anyway, but still.
  7. It's a pretty brutal game, and I actually had to grind in some dungeons just to pay for healing from Trish cause it got so bad. I wouldn't avoid battles outside of Negotiations very often.
  8. Gold Gym has so far been an incredibly uneven experience. So I leveled up a bit to get Hel so that I can finally make quick work of the angels that like to spam hama (which actually makes a difference this time around, a nice change of pace from 1 and IS, but it's been a while since I played Strange Journey, so I can't say the transition back to standard megaten difficulty has been smooth for me), but then when I reach floor 2 I encounter Faust who just wipes the floor with me with Fry. I heard grinding isn't really required in this game as much as just the proper Persona team, but getting all these nice level 20+ personas to a rank that actually makes a difference actually takes a while.
  9. You won't be able to get all of them, but it's possible to get a few from a sidequest involving a mapmaker and Kurudo is like the first one I believe.

To be fair, the boss fight he's needed in isn't exactly tough,, just really annoying without the instant kill cause the guy has more health than anything in the game and resists everything. I ended up going into auto-battle and letting them duke it out for ten or so minutes.
  10. I just hope I don't miss any of the other steps. Also, Junnosuke Kuroda is, apparently, a Fool persona. Gggggg

So what exactly should I do to get those cards if not through negotiations? I heard 15 cards is enough to summon all the fools once.
