Her story involves a love triangle between her, her best friend, and a guy friend. The whole episode plays it up like Juri let her best friend date the guy she liked as not to hurt their friendship but the reveal at the end is that she is actually in love with her best friend who is straight and the miracle she's looking for is that she could somehow be with her.

True, though the Juri reveal was pretty clever.
And even THAT show was really ambiguous about the meaning of its sexuality
It was pretty powerful at the time, but yeah, it's not like a full on Revolutionary Girl Utena type reveal.
