EXAMS DONE FOREVER OR AT LEAST FOR THIS SEMESTER!!!
I have the same thing, just not limited to FF. It's like, at this point I have so many games to play and I love them all, but I'm comfortable just enjoying them at my own pace and analyzing stuff as I go. Even with things I'm excited for - like, anything MegaTen, like Soul Hackers or SMT IV: Final I'm like, okay, I'll get it when I get it. I'm still super stoked for FFXV and Persona 5 but yeah, I think it's kind of a sign of maturity. I'm still an uber nerd who wants to know everything about my favorite games and will even write articles about them, but I am a bit more distanced. And you know? It's for the best. Look at all those people frothing at the mouth at FFVII or FFXV doing things that they don't like I feel nowadays I just really feel that it is all about just a game, so what's the big deal?
Hmm, I might try it. It is only like $5 now. I was thinking how sad I am that I've lost a lot of excitement for the series. Like when there's a new Tales game, I'm writing the date on my calendar. Same for Atelier series and a few others. But Final Fantasy? I'll check it out eventually. Like I have the PS4 now, but Type-0 wasn't even on my list for first game. It would have been Tales of Zestiria if I didn't get it on PS3, so it was between Omega Quintet and Fallout 4. Type-0 is a game I want to play but like... there's no rush, you know? FFXV will probably be the same unless there's nothing else I want on the way. Unlike Star Ocean V which will be very close to a day one purchase for me Oh well, things change I guess
I've started XIII-2, but then I took a break and have to restart someday when I have more time. It seemed to be much better than XIII, but the battle system was pretty much the same, for example. Fang and Sazh are nowhere to be found, and Snow and Hope get way too much focus, IMO. But Laura Bailey plays Serah so it evens out, imo
So have you played the XIII sequels? I've been thinking of trying XIII-2 for like 2 years now
Nah, they're just bitching. I've actually read quite a bit of reviews. I don't mind the stuff they're complaining about, I just wanna play it already
