Hard to tell, tbh. On the one hand, I think there's still part of Atlus that remains faithful to that punk attitude that made SMT unique in the first place, but then again, with Persona being its biggest cash cow, it would be pretty much suicide to do away with social links, for example. Just please, let anyone but the Devil Survivor team handle it, for the love of God.
From what I've heard, Persona is getting a new development team. It will be interesting to see if they'll go their own direction and make something new of the franchise, or if the heads of Atlus will just have them redo what's been working.
Can't really remember that battle, so I'll get to see if it's that fun soon! Though I don't know how much I'll get to play today. I'll get there soon though! Also, apparently Hashino and his crew stepped down from Persona to work on that fantasy game. Now I wonder - does that mean we'll have to wait for Persona 6 until after this is done, or is Persona getting a new team again? Because that would be exciting. Another change to the formula, with Persona 6 being the new Persona 3 in that regard.
I did enjoy the battle with Kandori, it felt like an amusing play on the battle with Kefka if he had Sephiroth's personality quirks.
It looks like it was just what I needed, though. Ticking demons off the list makes it really exciting. I only have around 50 demons left, and considering those 92 flew by, it makes me optimistic. Feels like I'm actually achieving somethign in this game, rather than just stumbling blindly like before Oh yeah, I'm in Deva Yuga now and just got Narukami, my second Fool Persona! Can't use him yet though since I'm level 45 and it's level 47. Oh Persona.
I may not have proper info then. To be fair, I've never bothered to get Vishnu. I've tried and then got bored.
I'll do my best. But it's still lame considering Vishnu is on the cover and is the de facto ultimate persona of the main character. But eh, what can you do. Also, according to my guide, Alice isn't recruitable?
Technically it's a series tradition to hide the best Persona behind the final boss.
Ugh. Lame.
I believe it's in Maki's world and it should be the northern most point on the map. It's called Mikage Ruins. You can refight all of the demons you may have missed there. It's twelve floors and I know Alice is one of the demons only found there that you'll need to make a pact with. She also drops a rare item used to make another high power Persona. The final floor let's you deal with the Karma class demons and refight some of the bosses. The floors only open up as you complete the game, just like the abandoned factory in P2. You will not be able to access the top five floors until you beat the game on the Best Ending route, so you'll have to wait until then to get Vishnu.
