My cat doesn't really meow. Not unless he's in huge trouble. Like that time he went missing and got stuck on the roof, he started meowing when he saw me. But in regular cases he just grunts when he is pissed off.

I like it when he actually chooses to lay on my back or something. It means I have done something right. But whenever he chooses to lay on my back or lap it's usually when I am just about to get up. I either kick him off or whatever I have to get up for is not longer important.
Yes but it's affectionate, not meant to make you feel bad about yourself. Huge difference.
Most of the time my cat is cool when I pick him up. Sometimes he just sleeps when I pick him up! And then I can put him almost anywhere and he will stay. But sometimes he is a little grumpy and as soon as I pick him up his thrusts his paw into my throat and I put him down and apologize. I accidently called him RSL the other day (yesterday)
