Now that I think about it, the one really redeeming factor about the DQ soundtracks are, I think, the battle themes. Each game really has a unique ones. With FFs you can see a general trend in the main battle themes, but in DQ each one is really district, with a very unique feel to it.
Okay, your call. I have an idea in mind, though it probably won't be anything related to the main plot. Imma throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks.
You don't need to reread those chapters, you should simply work on the descriptions only, I feel it will get more interesting results than seeing the characters in action. When I originally did this, I was only given descriptions. It was only after I finished my chapter did I read the original author's chapter and see the huge contrast.
Oh yes, you did, I totally forgot! I need to look deeper then since I only found the descriptions of the world and characters. I'll reread it right away then and get straight to writing!
That's fair, my descriptions are in the actual story, I did send you the first ten or so chapters if memory serves me correctly. Either way, it may be interesting to see how you interpret them.
Oh yeah, now I know one big thing I'm missing from your descriptions - I have no idea what anyone looks like aside from some unique characteristics! I'll try to keep look descriptions to a minimum, but since I can already see the characters in a certain way in my head, I hope you can forgive me if there are some inaccuracies that I let slip
Yeah. Still, it's just on the basis of descriptions so far. It'd be interesting to repeat this once we're both much further along in writing these to see how much having this actually written has changed the other's interpretation. Real eager to actually get some decent writing done. Sticking to my resolution of not playing anything for now! We'll see how that sticks.
True, on both accounts. Part of this is to see how other people interpret your own characters.
That's what this exercise is about, isn't it? And it's not like you really have a lot to go on since I've been slacking when it comes to writing the damn thing...
That's good, I have a feeling I may end up taking some more liberties with your characters.
