Also, I'm already starting to lose interest in PW: AA again xD I hope it picks up because I don't want to drop it like a fourth time. People speak so highly of it so I'm wondering what I'm missing here
I don't mind the wait, personally. I'll gladly wait even more as it seriously looks like one of the most ambitious gaming projects EVER. That alone has me hyped. And yeah, I never understood how people just give up on SE because one game is taking long. Like you said, there's a whole lot of games here that impacted me and I won't just forsake it or lose faith in it because of some hiccups. I also don't feel like SE owe me anything, which is an attitude I sadly see a lot around the internet, especially recently bwith everyone's stance on XV I'm just sitting here, having fun with all those different games, hoping XV turns out pretty awesome
Different tastes. It looks too real for me I guess. I prefer like fantasy magic and sparkles and weird crap that makes no sense and most of all FEMALE CHARACTERS who don't wear hooker boots at their mechanicing jobs. I also don't like how the Tales series, for example, has a game coming out next month and another one in 2016 (probably) after they just released a game last year, and Final Fantasy STILL hasn't given us a date for XV. I'd much prefer they get games out quicker and then if I don't like it, well there's another one soon enough. Now if I don't like this one, how many more years am I waiting for one I might like? I don't want to judge it too much before I've played it and I fully intend to play it as soon as I possibly can after it's released, but my patience is wearing thin I guess and they haven't shown me much yet that personally gets me very excited. But even if I don't like it, it won't be enough to turn me off of the series because it made 2/3 of my favourite games ever and I like the vast majority of what it has done so. I dunno, I just hope it's good when they make us wait that long >.<
XV looks super exciting to me, honestly. But like I said in the thread, I have weird tastes when it comes to video game stories. It really looks like it could be going a much more "real" route, if you know what I mean. You know how I hate the manufactured emotionality of X, right? I have a feeling we'll get some genuineness in XV, which has me most excited for it. That, and the huge-ass world, holy crap!
Ah I see. Sharky pretty much hated XIII and has disliked them more and more since IX I think. I'm excited for XV as far as a new FF game, but it doesn't look that interesting to me beyond the title and he isn't even excited at all. He has pretty much given up on FF :/
Okay, so I exaggerated, because he didn't exactly say XII was bad I just wanted to say he's wrong! Because I needed to get something off my chest. Generally, Carny put up some arguments earlier that elevated XIII and belittled XII, and I just wanted to say, in no uncertain terms, why I think XIII is bad
