  1. Bravely Default!

Though I still don't get how you could enjoy XII's battle system.
  2. Ahh. Might be a while before I do a video adaption of older reviews. I still have a lot of games in my backlog I want to look at.
  3. Yeah, I was looking for a video review.
  4. No prob. Recently I've branched out into movies and started doing video reviews on YouTube.
  5. Thanks! I was looking forward too it, but times have been too crazy lately.
  6. This is why I crank hyper down to zero on Street Fighter II. I cranked it up all the way to the top just to see if there were more differences than just their costumes, and oh my god. That thing was going so fast I felt like I was going to punch a hole in the screen.
  7. Even if I had the skill, though, I probably wouldn't enjoy them. I'd certainly like them more, but I still don't like the idea of having to focus that hard on entertainment. To be competitive you have to memorize so many different moves and match ups, learn to read your opponent and react to split second differences between approaches. It's just not the way I enjoy games. The fact that I suck at them just further cements my dislike.
  8. Yeah, outside of Mortal Kombat and Evil Zone not a lot of them put much effort into story. The story mode of Tekken Tag 2 was a joke.

I get not liking them. I tend to have a love/hate relationship with some of them depending on my own skill, but when I think about it I think that's my relationship with every game. I just recently beat Street Fighter II today and the only a couple of guys gave me trouble. E. Honda and Blanka were tweaked as smurf. I got all excited when I learned some of the moves since I usually just button smash, or find one single punch that works and just keep spamming it. That's literally all I did in Tekken Tag 2; I just punched the computer repeatedly until they died.
  9. I generally loathe them. I don't have the twitch reflexes required to be good, and I hate having to concentrate on games that fast paced. I play them every once in a while for a change of pace, but I rarely enjoy them for more than a week or so.

Plus their stories are not ideal.
