Wiki is fine but after playing through a couple of the games already and with them all being upgraded with HD and whatnot, I owe it to myself to play and finish the rest of them.
Or just read wiki? That's what I do. The whole key blade masters thing reminds me of the Jedi order.
I think once Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 comes out, I'm just going to sit down and play through all of the games in order until I am actually able to understand it all

I dunno. I can see them making KH3 and then spending a few years releasing a whole bunch of new spin offs and stuff.

Yeah, it's a little too all over the place. I think if the handheld games weren't part of the main storyline and were just side-games set in the same universe then it'd be a lot easier to understand. It's good that it's popular and it's making them money, but going from PSP to DS to PS2 to 3DS is just pretty jarring. At least with the HD remix they've condensed some of the games into movies so I guess that makes it a little easier...
Same here. I found the story has gotten rather complicated and ridiculous for games after kingdom hearts 2. Like they are trying really hard to squeeze money out of the franchise.
I've played Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, planning on playing Chain of Memories since it's included in the HD version on PS3. Aside from that I've not really played any of the others.
