They completely screwed up. if you had stayed to the end you would have found out that apparently the dwarves dont exist, the varden are vikings, eragon can kill god, and durza is a dragon rider. That movie was butt.
Well thank God for that! I remember thinking I had spent about 45 minutes in the theater. They crammed so much into it that it seemed like they flew right through the story. I almost left when they killed the Ra'zac, and those Urgals were just awful. I threw my Skittles at the screen when Saphira grew up in like two seconds. xD
The movie killed the franchise. I honestly don't think they could have done a worse job. Apparently they made a second movie that never even got released.
A part of me really wants to grill you for information about it, but I should probably just man up and go buy it. I think I probably lost interest after watching the movie. My hope for redemption is low.
