If the scratches aren't past the paint and into the metal then you have no need to worry about corrosion. This is also true of plastic panels obviously. So the question is, "Do the scratches bother you?" If not, smurf it. That just means it's a purely cosmetic issue. Just make sure the car isn't rusting, and the damage shouldn't get worse.
pg is a bad driver but seriously one time the concierge at the parking garage said I could fit in a spot when I clearly couldn't. Now I have scratches on the passenger side of my car. I asked my friend to look at it, and he told me it would require sanding, and probably would end up discolored from the rest. Since I do not plan to sell the car after 2012 as I had initially wanted to (instead opting to save up for a condo so I can move out), would you agree with my plan of action of....no action?
