There’s shouting in the background. What is its purpose, you weep? There isn’t a purpose. They are all doomed... sure, you could argue that the shouting is to attract help, but nobody is going to help them. Nobody can help them. Why waste your last moments of life shouting, when nobody who can hear it cares? There is no purpose.
