I kind of get what you mean. You basically stick a cute anime girl in your sig/avatar and feel good knowing that other guys think that girl is cute too. That's what happened with you, Aerith's Knight, and Vermachtnis when I used that Milfeulle set. So you seriously don't know Cynthia? I thought for sure you'd have beaten Pearl/Diamond...
Although I'm straight, I don't mind attention of that sort from the same gender. I think it's cute.
Well, if people think you're a girl then you start attracting attention from the wrong gender which is awkward. That's why I try to rub in my masculinity as best as I can. I'd rather have people trying to find out who I am based only on my gender than have other guys liking me thinking I'm a girl. I'm not that paranoid of a person to hide my gender. Although I might be if I was a girl...
So? I'm mistaken for a girl all the time and I don't mind. Quite the contrary.
It's really awkward whenever I do it though. I mean, the paranoid and secretive guy who won't even trust people with his first name using a girly sig? I know I've done it before but people actually started thinking I was a girl the last time I did that (my Milfeulle set). ...yeah. I guess it's kind of wrong of me to suggest sets to others.
