And it's not like I'm trying to kinkshame anyone But did you know it's an actual social problem in Japan? Young men escape to these make-believe relationships and later cannot form normal ones because other people don't work that way. It's kind of similar to how someone who watches too much porn tries has a troubled view on what sex should be like, only this is like on a country-wide scale and the Japanese just don't want to procreate anymore.

Totally. I once watched a Let's Play of Corpse Party that Pewdiepie made. It was a horror game (well, "horror" more like. Gore does not scare me at all, and it was made in RPG Maker, so everything was adorable sprites... Yeah, I really don't get how that can be scary), but it had tons of fanservice. At one point a girl is having some kind of mental breakdown because a ghost is trying to possess her or something. Cue picture of her clutching her head in despair... and a friggin' panty shot. Ugh!
I dunno, I don't judge. We all have our umm... kinks I guess. Some read romance novels or use blow up dolls or watch porn or whatever. I just don't want it in my games personally xD. My main gripe with VN's is some of them are not centered around being a pornographic game but will still have that stuff in it and I don't like that because that's not what I want. I would prefer it if those were specially marked and only available in certain places and such, much like other things related to that. Not just sneaking up on me in the game
Yeah, I get that And I do that too. I told you a lot that I enjoy Baldur's Gate's romance and I'm even willing to try non-straight options in games even if I myself don't swing that way. But it just kinda rubs me the wrong way, you know? Knowing that there's people out there who feel that need. Especially with those porn games, I mean come on. How low can you get
