I feel the HT probably slipped a bunch of stuff from the story as well. Some of the elements I know of the story that have been spoiled for me, doesn't really bother me because knowing Yoko Taro, it had to be the case he would go in that direction.
I watched Super Bunnyhop's analysis on it. Of course, it's totally full of spoilers though
Oh, I'm intrigued by Automata as well, especially after the Honest Trailer for it.
Nier Automata is what interests me the most personally I lost on my third boss and decided to call it a day because it's late But I'll get there!
