I'd finished season 1 of Darker then Black, and it was pretty damn sweet. Need to get around to actually buying my own copy and then watching season 2.
Darker than Black is pretty awesome. Which season are you watching? Also... if you haven't watched Ga-Rei Zero yet, I can recommend that. It does leave you with a quite bittersweet taste though, so be prepared for that.
The plot from episodes 1-4 is pretty much the same. Fight fetish themed chick, advance to next fight. You missed nothing. Thankfully I had Darker then Black to wash the taste out after words.
...jumping ahead to the last episode right away just to watch the ending out of curiousity, I can now see why got pissed. Daaamn, man. That was just... disgusting. And I didn't even watch anything before it and don't know the plot. =/
Great. Now I have to go watch that show only to find out how bad it is. =O So far, the worst anime ending I've seen was the ending for 11-Eyes. Probably because of different reasons though. It wasn't "offensive", just terribly bad and totally wrong in every single way.
Hence why I'm sitting her blissfully ignorant of the awesome until it's all out. Instead I just sit here mad as smurf after watching all of Master of the Martial Heart, because my god. That was the most offensively bad ending ever. And given how trout the rest of the show was, that is saying something. They managed to smurf up a show whose soul purpose was fan service. HOW DO YOU DO THAT?
Oh, I see. Well the first season, which is only 12 episodes, is released now. But there will be another 13 episodes coming out, starting in 3 months. The wait... is killing me. =(
When I checked it wasn't fully released, so I was waiting until I could just grab the whole thing at once.
