It got really smurfing confusing at one point. Couldn't figure out how to add photos to the smurfing wall album. Apparently you just post them on your wall. Weird.
Oh yeah, definitely. I mean, even with that, uploading photos to facebook is still easier that I've ever found it xD.
That's a bit of a pain, but when you think about it, there are more than enough improvements and advancements to warrant it being two thumbs up already.
It doesn't seem that I can upload files straight to facebook though, which is a shame. I can still upload them from facebook, however.
Oh man I cannot wait for it unnnnnnnnf finally something that is built great.
Okay, so I have a photo. I'll throw it your way on facebook. After delving even deeper, I've found it to be even more amazing. I just imported my photos like nobody's business; piece of cake. They're right there now. Easy and sexy access. Words cannot describe, Dax. Words cannot describe. Go and buy this immediately.
Yeah I hate bing but there will be ways around it I am sure! I can't wait, I love functionality.
The standard Mail function is basically Outlook, except it's free. Hot damn. Oop! And I just logged onto facebook without even opening an internet browser. These apps are amazingly useful and efficient. Unfortunately, I have to see "Bing" a lot, and I have Windows Messenger by default, but it's not an annoying thing. It's a really well implemented thing; like having a non-standard SMS client on your phone. I will show you it all as soon as I have it all finished. It really is incredible. I figured it'd be a cool little thing that I could use if I wanted, but I'd probably stick to using it the same way I did 7. But no. Now that I've experimented a little, it's become clear that it is really sodding useful.
Customisation is pretty much the most baller thing in the world. You've made me so excited for something that was really just on the cusp of being irrelevant anyway. You should show me a screencap of your start screen when you get it all set up
Haha, in 8, that's the default. It's really cool. The Start bar is more like a Start screen now. It's basically like a smartphone style thing, but large scale. Swish is very much the word for it. I highly recommend it, especially as it's so cheap. I'm impressed with Microsoft for being the company that finally took steps towards the future. It's a huge change from what we're used to, and I imagine this style of OS will be commonplace now that Microsoft have started it. Right now I'm just trying to figure out how to customise the Start screen...
