Also, best time to grind on disc 1 is when you leave Lindblum to go to Gizamaluke's Grotto. If you find Chocobo Forest, there will be a gate near there which A) will have one of your coffees, and B) has free healing that you can use any time. I take this time to learn almost all available abilities, minus a few obscene ones like High Tide for Quina. It makes teh upcoming boss fight much easier to as it's generally considered one of the harder ones
