  1. Great I'm not that much of a completionist, but it would be nice to have like all the abilities, summons, blue magic, the best weapons, optional bosses / that stuff XD I probably won't be trying to get Excalibur II though - I heard you get it for a speed run
  2. Like what type? Items obviously. Umm there's the cards at the beginning. Go to the chapel where you meet the first Moogle, climb the ladder and ring the bell. Then when you return later in the game you can get better cards by doing the same thing. If you care about the card game at all. There's the coffee's and the zodiacs as well but those are more involved and I can send you more info via Mognet if you'd like. If you like to have every item and not sell any, buy an extra javelin in Lindblum on the first disc. Basically a lot in Lindblum. Explore a lot, talk to everyone, examine everything, especially after seeing the giant moogle run off. I'll give you more info when you get to disc 2
  3. Hey, since you replay FFIX every year and I beat it like once, do you think you can tell me if there are any missables that I should look out for?
  4. oh dear
  5. Nope XD She actually cried after End of Evangelion. And I don't mean it in a good way.
  6. I take it it didn't go well?
  7. XD

Kinda reminds me of the time when I though Ania might like Evangelion. Haha, nope.
  8. I found 9 hours 9 persons 9 doors endlessly frustrating xD I am not good with puzzles. I'll put up with them for a good game but a game with so many puzzles I just can't

Here's a fun story, when sharky and I started our game exchange, he originally chose Ico for me because he thought it would be a nice, relaxing, puzzle style game which he thought I liked. I HATE PUZZLES AND IT'S CHOCK FULL OF THEM and the game was so stressful it would make my stomach hurt and it scared the crap out of me and made me want to cry. It's funny because he really meant well but he would have really had to try hard to be more off base x)
  9. Well, I've played a couple and had no sex scenes whatsoever XD The only fanservice I encountered in a VN was in Danganronpa 2, but that game was so incredibly meta that it was most likely intended as a parody of all the fanservice everywhere.

I really recommend Danganronpa, anyway. It also has trials and stuff, but they're a bit more action-packed, and the stakes are kinda higher since it's all one continuous story rather than episodes.

9 hours 9 persons 9 door is also pretty great!
  10. I'm just not good at them I need a walkthrough or all of my clients are gonna end up in jail forever.

I like some visual novels, it just depends for me. What bugs me is there's a much higher content of sex scenes in vis novels than most video games and it makes me uncomfortable. And a lot of it is sadly sexual assault which makes me uncomfortable for personal reasons.
