That's cool, I had a similar vibe with FFXV in the early sections.
Man, one thing I really love about the Witcher is how incredibly Polish the scenery is. Everything looks so familiar, some places even reminding me of my home region
Ah the good old days, when poor balancing and bugs were just features that made the game more extreme.
It had a nice atmosphere. I never beat it, though. I also didn't beat the sequel. One of the only games I ever rage quit. I spent so much time I had the proper stat build for my shapeshifter druid. But the final boss just threw all the rules out the window and I was just done with the game
Oddly enough, I've never played Diablo. A few knockoffs, but never the original.
Nice. Mine was Diablo. I was, what, 8? I was terrified of that game yet couldn't look away.
Yep, the Battletech game was actually my first RPG.
That does sound super obscure
I found Colonization and the Leisure Suit Larry series, I also found a few games I meant to check out back int the day like Heaven and Hell. The two I'm looking for are Civilization 2, as it's my favorite version, and Battletech:The Crescent Hawk's Inception. The second of which is significantly older than a lot of the game on the site, and technically FAFSA has been bought out, legal issues and what not, that may prevent the game from ever being released in a legal way. The old Battletech games actually used mecha from Macross/Robotech, due to some licensing shenanigans from the 80s but lost the rights to use them in the 90s for instance.
So which games did you manage to find and which ones are problematic?
